A dedicated server is a physical machine in our datacenter. It is only used by you as a customer and no one else and you do not share any resources and have the entire server to yourself.
You decide what operating you want to install. In our control panel Flux you can install a wide range of linux distributions. Through IPMI you can also install for instance Windows, Proxmox or other operating systems.
There are so many uses for a virtual server, but a few examples are website hosting, game servers, storage, server virtualization or cloud solutions and more.
Unfortunately we do not. We do not offer hardware upgrades on servers sold via our auction.
